ferb82,
What you really wanted to say was, "I'm afraid I will have problem getting used to the food there" Am I right?
If you're going to bigger towns/cities in Malaysia like Kuala Lumpur, Penang or Johor Bahru, you shouldn't have any problems. Asian food and western food are popular in these places.

hihi everyone..
I'm very like eat food but in the life, we don't eat on the street.we need cook at the house. It's clear and important. As you see there are many components in our diets that can help our skin. Instead of making yourself a diet just for skin care, make one that works for the health of your overall body, and then, if you find a deficiency you will know what foods you need to eat to keep your skin clear and good looking. It’s all about balancing your diet.

Every place on earth also got it's germs that can make people sick. Many germs do not effect the locals because they have already built up an immunity against it BUT to foreigners it can make you sick.
However, most of these bacteria are not really harmful, at the most it may give you the sh*ts for a couple of days. If you have important business to attend to keep away from hawker food and ice drinks because usually the ice cubes are made from tap water. Don't drink any unboiled water, soft drinks are ok because their water is highly filtrated and sanitised. Even rinsing your mouth in the morning is best done with bottled water.
After a week or so your body will have built up enough immunity to the local bacterias and you can eat anything you want.
This is not to say Malaysia is dirty you can get the sick anywhere in the world. I get the same bad belly in the USA (I blame that on the salad and the ice tea) it is something any traveller will have to deal with. Do bring some medication just in case you get the sh*ts and get on with it. Try our local Poh Chai Yuen, fixs everything from a broken heart to the crack of dawn and even a leaking a***hole !!!
Come and enjoy the food, getting the "run" for a couple of days is worth it, there is nothing like Malaysian food. Next time do be a bit more diplomatic (see the post below) don't be silly like me.

Better yet, bring food from your country ( enough for 2 months) and your mama to cook it. No risks there Or the best case scenerio, stay home and fret no more

This is one of the most comprehensive online guides to eating out in Malaysia.
http://food.malaysiamostwanted.com/
Just click on one of the tabs: Locations/Cuisines/Food for a quick list of places to go or food to eat.
Check out the food review links on each page. Lots of information including photos and location details provided.
It's a great eating out reference for those in Malaysia or intending to visit in the near future.
cheers
