Balloting for education show lots

PETALING JAYA: Representatives from various education institutions took part in a balloting session at Menara Star here yesterday to vie for exhibition counter locations at the Star-ACMS conference. 

Among those present were Kong Wan Yee and Claire Tan of Malaysian Allied Health Sciences Academy (Mahsa) College, R. Vicky of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (Micpa), Azura Abu Bakar of Malaysia University of Science & Technology and Julie Yeoh of Limkokwing University College of Creative Technology (Lict). 

The conference, co-organised by The Star and the Asian Centre for Media Studies (ACMS) will be held at Hotel Nikko, Kuala Lumpur, on Aug 18-19, with the theme Globalising Higher Education in Malaysia, and is expected to attract prominent speakers and more than 200 participants.
